• Gerard has bleached his hair blonde for the third album. This caused quite a commotion in the fanbase.
• Gerard dyed his hair because as many fans know each album has a story, this time with The Black Parade (My Chemical Romance's third album) Gerard wanted to look like the main character, a man who had just gone through chemotherapy, hence his dark locks are gone and we have his newly buzzed blonde hair. (note: Gerard has dyed his hair black again.)
• Gerard has trypanophobia and is deathly afraid of needles, which is why he has no tatoos or piercings.
• Gerard hunches his shoulders when he walks (this can be seen when he was explaining the concept of the "Welcome to the Black Parade" video during the making of the aforementioned video.)
• Gerard and Mikey's parents are divorced.
• Mikey and Gerard shared a room most of their life.
• The newspaper inspires him to write songs.
• Song trivia: Helena was written in memory of his grandmother, Elena Lee Rush. Elena was called "Helen" by her friends.
• He came up with the wardrobe idea for the "Helena" video.
• Gerard has been compared (appearance wise) to Christina Ricci. Apparently, he looks like the said actress in his passport photo.
• At the Warped Tour '04, Gerard was so drunk that he was on stage 2 while the rest of the band was on stage 1.
• He once stalked Christina Ricci.

• He can play the guitar. (However, he doesn't play in the band since he finds it hard to play the guitar and sing at the same time. Another reason is that he thinks he "sucks" at it.)
• Nipple rings scare him.
• He and his brother used to dress alike when they were younger.
• Learned how to draw, sing and perform from his grandmother, Elena.
• Has Teen Titans bed sheets on his bunk bed in the bus.
• His dream car is a red Corvette licensed "KNIVES".
• He is in therapy, and he loves it!
• He is obsessed with death, and has been since he realized everyone has to die and they will end up alone. THIS WAS WHEN HE WAS ONLY 8 YEARS OLD.
• He actually sings during the making of their videos.
• Gee thinks of My Chemical Romance as a "gang".
• His therapists are named Bruce and Diana. (They appear in Gerard's Thank You's in Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge)

As for me, I don't think she looks like Gerard. But if you do, then that's your opinion.
